1.  What skills have you developed through this module and how effectively do you think you have applied them?

During this module I have developed several new skills, mostly through the work shops moving images and photoshop as I had never used moving images before and new little about photoshop. Along side this I have learnt about the possibilities that can be explored when collecting research, before now I would just have a pile of information that would be relatively boring and un helpful where as now I have a bigger insight in how to be creative with any information that I can gather and categorize.

2. What approaches to/methods of research have you developed and how have they informed your design development process?

I have been doing a lot more reading, in terms of article on the internet learning more about my subject and other artists and/or designers and their methods when usually I would just look at their work and judge weather I though it looked nice or if it worked.

3. What strengths can you identify in your work and how have/will you capitalise on these?

The main strength in my work I would say is the crafting and hand made side to it, I find make things enjoyable and its something I really go into especially and the 100 brief.

4. What weaknesses can you identify in your work and how will you address these more fully?

I felt that my weaknesses were time management, it wasn’t such an issue last term but it became more difficult to get work done. On top of this I think I need to learn more about moving image and especially Photoshop and how to create layouts for book content whilst keeping the files to a small size to make it run quick and better. This was an issue that I definitely need to address by talking to people and finding out what I’m doing wrong and then put it write

5. Identify five things that you will do differently next time and what do you expect to gain from doing these?

1.    begin my work with designing on sheets and notebooks more and not jumpinginto maing things .
2.    blog at least one thing every morning before any briefings or workshops etc
3.    manage my time better and prioritise certain work over others If that work has an earlier deadline or has more worth.
4.    Take my ideas onto the computers quicker and work digitally
5.    Blog new information/seminars/workshops straight after attending them (this will help with the work load

6.How would you grade yourself on the following areas:

The evaluation of your work is an important part of the assessment criteria and represents a percentage of the overall grade. It is essential that you give yourself enough time to complete your written evaluation fully and with appropriate depth and level of self-reflection. If you have any questions relating to the self evaluation process speak to a member of staff as soon as possible.
