Message and Interpretation - Rationale

Brief:
Produce designs foe a set of three high impact posters that deliver a personal identified message derived from your research.

Who needs to know?
The audience will be the rest of the year group but the work should be able to communicate to the general public in the sense that it is informative and understandable.

What do they need to know?
The audience will need to know what my fact is that i am trying to communicate and be able to see that it stands as a fact and not a statement or opinion. The fact i will be trying to communicate is 'Graffiti vandalism cost the government hundreds of millions in damage repairs and clean up jobs'
Why do they need to know?
They need to know this in order for the work to answer the brief and work as an informative and impactive message.


What will they respond to?
They will respond to three separate posters that work together as a series each communicating the same message when they stand alone. the first poster must be just type the second just image and the third both image and type.


What research is required?
Research into recognisable signs and symbols to simple communicate the message.
Research from the previous brief that was used to assemble the fact I am trying to communicate.
