INDESIGN Software Brief - Rationale.

The Brief:

• Subject Matter -
• Lewis Francis
• Requirements -
• Produce a DPS based upon subject matter.
• Landscape.
• A3 stock.
• 237x380
• 2cm bleed.
• Content -
• This will be gathered from an interview with Lewis along with subject matter and information he has posted about himself on his blog.
• Primary content - photographs, digital illustrations
• Colours.
• The article must be 300 words long and contain 2 images.
• Considerations -
• Layout - simple but exciting - fun - cool.
• Type - simple and crisp type.
• Image - Lewis himself, maybe illustrated version of him.
• Colour - black and white - only use colour in the images.
• Relation - DPS will be based entirely on Lewis's interests and personality so it will be interesting for him.
• Tone - fun and cool like the games he plays.
• Audience - primarily Lewis - secondly the rest of the first year group and the tutors.
• Legibility - crisp text - completely readable.
